Generally resistant to water, average concentration acids and bases, alcohols and keytones. Not recommended for ozone or oil resistance. |
NR or Natural Rubber Polyisoprene.
It is obtained as latex liquid which comes from rubber trees. Of the different species that contain the liquid, only the Hevea Brasiliensis is commercially exploited.
• Excellent mechanical properties.
• Available in a wide range of hardnesses from 35°to 90°Sh.A.
• Low compression set and high resilience.
• Excellent dynamic and rebound properties.
• Temperature range: -50º C to +90º C.
• Resistance to chemicals; good resistance to acids, alkalis and salts. Its contact with oils and hydrocarbons is not advisable |
